Everton Acosta se dedica ao estudo da música desde os 16 anos. Em 1992 tinha aulas com professores de escolas locais. Iniciou como muitos, tocando músicas das quais gostava de ouvir. Seu objetivo era tocar e assim conseguir executar as músicas dos guitarristas que tinha como influência: Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert, Jason Becker, Marty Freedman, Greg Howe e Vinnie Moore. Everton sempre possuiu um fascínio pela técnica apurada e estudos de teoria musical. Estudante do curso de licenciatura em musica no Claretiano, dedica as aulas de musica e a Distraught com 6 Cds lançados.
