Na UNICAMP estudei com Jorge Oscar (baixista da Gal Costa), Zé Alexandre Carvalho (baixista do André Mehmari e Toninho Ferragutti), e Mario Campos (baixista do Arrigo Barnabé) além de inúmeros outros profissionais da música, como Hilton Valente "Gogô" (pianista do Johnny Alf), Celso Veagnoli, entre outros. Fiz cursos, oficinas e workshops com: Arrigo Barnabé, Brandford Marsallis, Nelson Ayres, Duofel, Thiago Espírito Santo, Arismar do Espírito Santo, Arthur Maia, Itamar Collaço, André Luccas, Thiago Alves, entre outros.
