Iniciei na música como autodidata. Alguns anos mais tarde estudei violão clássico no Conservatório Carlos Gomes em Campinas, violão popular através do CLAM em São Paulo e me formei em Guitarra MPB/JAZZ no Conservatório Dramático e Musical de Tatuí-SP. No decorrer da carreira como instrumentista, toquei em inúmeras bandas dos mais variados estilos de artistas, atuando no palco e em estúdios de gravação. Aprofundei-me nos estudos de Harmonia e Improvisação. Leciono música desde 1990. Tenho usado a internet e diversas ferramentas para ensino à distância.
