Durante 4 anos lecionei no Centro Musical Antônio Adolfo, saindo apenas para me aperfeiçoar nos EUA (Berklee College of Music), de onde retornei em dezembro de 2004. Fui influenciado por Baden Powell, Raphael Rabello, Toquinho, Ulisses Rocha, Yamandú Costa, Pat Metheny, Joe Pass, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque, Cartola, Vinícius de Moraes.
