Nascido em 1983 na cidade de São Paulo, Rodrigo Nascimento iniciou seus estudos musicais aos 15 anos de idade na Fundação das artes de São Caetano do Sul, onde concluiu o curso de bacharel em saxofone. Formado pela Faculdade Integral Cantareira, no curso de bacharelado em música com habilitação em saxofone. Estudou com músicos importantes no cenário musical, entre eles Vitor Alcântara, Vinícius Dorin, Nailor Proveta, Roberto Sion e Bob Wyatt. Começou a tocar profissionalmente aos 18 anos de idade em bandas de evento, grupos de música instrumental e lecionando aulas de saxofone.
