Iniciou os estudos de música aos 7 anos, com o avô, flautista da OSPA. Inicou os estudos de violão aos 12 anos, com o professor Antoninho Maciel. Iniciou Violão Clássico aos 17. Estudou Canto na UFRGS e Composição e Regência na Faculdade de Música Palestrina, sagrando-se Bacharel em 1985. Ministrou aulas de Música em Escolas Particulares como Rosário, Dom Bosco e Colégio Luterano, atuando também como regente de coro infantil e juvenil. é músico de bar, como cantor e violonista atuando em bares noturnos de Porto Alegre desde 1986. Foi baixista e tecladista da banda de baile Boinas Azuis.
Teaches: Baixo, Canto, Flauta, Gaita, Guitarra, Piano, Sax, Teclado, Ukulele, Violino, Violão.
