Leandro Skald é graduado em flauta transversal pela Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais. De 2012 a 2015 viajou por mais de 30 países em pesquisa etnomusicológica, inspiração para suas composições. Trabalha ativamente na área da composição para trilhas sonoras. Leciona Percepção Musical para todos os níveis e idade, especialmente para alunos em treinamento preparatório para vestibulares, onde a cada ano sempre alcançou taxa de aprovação acima de 80%. Em 2016, finalizou a elaboração de seu método próprio de Percepção Musical.
