Emmerich Ruysam, Paulista, contrabaixista, estudou contrabaixo no Conservatório Dramático e Musical "Dr. Carlos de Campos" de Tatuí, passando pelo elétrico até o acústico. Teve aulas particulares no baixomania com Celso Pixinga durante 3 anos.Em 1.999 teve aulas particulares de improvisação com NICO ASSUMPÇÃO no Rio de Janeiro, em 2005 estudou baixo acústico com o compositor alemão, Frank Herzberg (SINFONICA DO ESTADO DE SP); e estudou arranjo com Roberto Sion (Maestro da Jazz Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo) e Cláudio Leal Ferreira (Arranjador de grandes artístas conceituados).
