Left behind a soul
Remembered in pieces I know
Still here, but hard to recall
Spirit's up and gone,
Set off to become an icon
Somewhere with no cares at all

When everybody has something to say
But I remain silent
With only just the nerve to say, "goodbye."

Stories told
Of real-life perpetually put on hold
So near, just like daydreams
Drifting up like smoke,
Intentions dissolve into hope
Still here, but living onscreen
