Quando Jesus me salvou eu andava perdido em consolação
Às trevas já eram tantas que luz eu não via
Só escuridão
Hoje eu sou mui feliz por ser redimido por Cristo Jesus
Só me falta a família meus entes queridos levar sua cruz
Oh meu Jesus tão amado já me sinto salvou do mundo de horror
De todo o vício maldito Jesus por sua graça já me libertou
Sentindo logo em minh'alma uma paz gloriosa que não há igual
Que essa vinda do céu é dada ao homem por golpe mortal, pois desta veio a mim
Quando eu me achava perdido então
Mãe logo eu fui achado por Cristo Jesus que me deu salvação
Oh meu Jesus tão amado já me sinto salvou do mundo de horror
De todo o vício maldito Jesus por sua graça já me libertou
Os companheiros que eu tinha zombando dizia, ele não fica lá
Outros dizia coitado já depois velho quer se regenerar
Mas eu clamava e dizia Jesus me segura não deixa eu cair
Já que salvas- te a minh'alma ilumina a estrada é me deixe seguir

De todo o vício maldito Jesus por sua graça já me libertou
Por isso eu digo a todos que hoje escuta a palavra de Deus
Que nesse mundo não via o homem pior do que eu
Mas no estado que estava quando eu ouvia a voz de meu Jesus
Que me chamava das trevas dizendo vem já receber minha luz

That this coming from heaven Is given To man by a mortal blow
For it came to me, When I thought I was lost then
Mother, I was soon found by Christ Jesus who gave me salvation

From all the cursed vice Jesus by his grace has already freed me
The companions I had mocking said, he doesn't stay there
Others said, poor thing, now that he's old, he wants to regenerate
But I cried out and said Jesus, hold me, don't let me fall
Since you saved my soul, light the road and let me follow

That's why I tell everyone that today listen to the word of God
That in this world I didn't see a man worse than me
But in the state I was in when I heard the voice of my Jesus
Who called me from the darkness saying come now receive my light
