In heaven, no sin shall enter
Fatigue, sadness, or pain
There is no broken heart here
For all are filled with love's gain
The clouds of earthly life
Cannot overshadow glory bright
Of the kingdom of heavenly joy
That God has prepared for my delight

I will go to the lovely city
Jesus will give me a place
With believers of all ages
To God, I will always praise
I have many yearnings for heaven
For the glories I shall see there

Surrounded by great splendor!

Payment is not required
For the home that I shall have there
And my eternal clothing
In heaven will never tear
I will never live in poverty
Afflicted, in my holy home
There is plenty of riches there
Of which I will be free to roam
