As morning dew falls round dead roses Shadows cast and distort their poses Obscuring the scene before my eyes As the serpent’s egg in the sunlight lies In the dusts of time a breath has passed As tears fall down the cheeks of a Countess whose lovesick spell is cast Life rising from the fertile ashes Once frozen like sands in hourglasses The time has come For the rapture to begin! Daylight breaks and brings its warmth Unfreezing what had once stood still Through times unchanged by loves lost With the help of the now broken egg She begins to avenge her losses And enslave those who oppose her Brought to her unwittingly they fall Prey to the serpent’s charm And slowly kneel down before her throne Where they once and for all Shall now meet their fates And die for the wrongs they have done Glowing the egg is healing Powers brought by the bloodshed Rebirth of hatred unknown Brought forth by forces unseen Awakened by ancient rulers To serve in selfish visions Beautiful but deadly Before my eyes she stands With the egg in hand To once again control Serpent who walks among us With the eyes of black Who once again has cast His spell of lust He who uses the serpent’s egg For his own selfish pleasure Shall rot eternally in sinful lust
